If you don’t want to take on the game on your own, then you’re going to enjoy the couch co-op option for up to 4 players to take on this adventure. Vinnie will have to face off against many types of enemies, and considering it’s a war-torn era, you can expect many Nazi enemies, as well as zombies, because this is the sequel and zombies need to be in here – you will spend a lot of bullets to make the dead even more dead! There are also police officers that will try to hunt you down, so you always need to be on high alert to survive. Luckily this won’t happen a lot since every stage has plenty of ammo for you to collect. Your starting pistol has unlimited bullets, which will come in handy when you run out of bullets for the other weapons you can get your hands on. There are also plenty of melee weapons, such as baseball bats, to bring the hurt closer to your opponents. You can collect a multitude of weapons, including some heavy hitters like a flamethrower that will make short work of regular enemies. The controls do take a bit to get used to, but you will quickly get the hang of things as you progress through the first stage. You can fire with the R2 button, and will be aiming where to shoot with the right analog stick. The way the game is set up, you will be able to move around with the left analog stick, and can jump and double jump with the L2 button, which is definitely different from what we’re used to for jumping with the face buttons. If you enjoyed the original game, then you’re going to enjoy the sequel. You control Vinnie and must plan your escape as you try to survive the onslaught of enemies who will be shooting at you through the entire game. The year is now 1944, and Europe is in the last stages of World War II. Vinnie Cannoli is back after a couple of decades as the sole survivor of the Thugtown wars. This sequel still has a great art style that helps to make everything pop.

It’s been over two years since I got to review Guns, Gore and Cannoli on PlayStation 4, and now here I am reviewing its sequel.
